Meet our Board Members

Zoë Nickolas, President

Zoë Nickolas is the proud mother of three teenage daughters in the Marblehead school system. Her oldest daughter is a senior at Marblehead High School and her twins are in 8th grade at Marblehead Veterans Middle School. Zoë is a Registered Nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital where she has worked since 1999 (now working per diem). She moved to Marblehead in 2011 after blending families with her Domestic Partner and her step-son (a junior at MHS). This is Zoë's second year as President of FoPA, her mission and passion is to help support and celebrate all the students in the Performing Arts department.

Stephanie Morrow, Treasurer

Stephanie Morrow is serving her second year at Treasurer of FoPA.  Stephanie has two daughters who are currently enrolled in Marblehead schools.  Her oldest daughter graduated from Marblehead High School in June 2017.  All three of her children have been involved in the Performing Arts (chorus, drama or orchestra) at various times in their school careers. 
 
 
 

Mia Morgan, Communications

Mia and her husband John have three children who are involved in school and community performing arts activities. Charles, a senior at MHS, is a member of The Jewel Tones, The Grizzly Freakin' Man Singers, and the MHS Mixed Choir; Lily, a sophomore at MHS, is involved in theater and musical theater, and she is a member of Serendipity, and the MHS Women's Choir; and Piper, a 7th grader at MVMS, is involved in musical theater and MVMS Mixed Chorus. Mia teaches in the library media studies program at Salem State University, and she also works as a K-4 school library media specialist for the town of Swampscott. She joined the board of FOPA in 2016 as Communications Director.

 
 
 

Jennifer Martelli, Band Liaison

Jennifer Martelli has lived in Marblehead for twenty-one years. Her daughter Mia, a 2014 graduate of Marblehead High School, was co-captain for the MHS Dance Team. Her son Michael is a sophomore at MHS, and a member of the MHS Concert, Jazz, and Marching Bands. Jennifer taught high school English and women’s literature at Emerson College. She is a writer, book reviewer, and editor. She joined FOPA in 2017 as the Band liaison.
